  • Only create each client of the AWS SDK once.
  • Use esbuild on the typescript-emitted files, bringing the total bundle size down to 4mb from 120mb
  • Use node 22

This seems to reduce cold start duration from ~1900 ms -> ~1200ms based on a brief look at the logging.
